F Nice Records - Records Label, Artist Promotion, Band Merchandise

F Nice Records is an Open Minded Company. We are acutely aware of how intellectual property laws such as copyrights affect the music industry and our culture as a whole. Many artists as well as record and production companies have been screwed over by the malicious use of these laws. Those who misuse these laws out of their own greed, and even the fact that the laws themselves exist, is why F Nice Records was created.

We will never ask any artist to give up the rights to their music. Your art is your creation and you should always own the control to it as long as such laws exist. Likewise we will never tell an artist what to perform at a show or play on a album. We do things like book you shows and produce your albums because we want you to be famous, and we work with artists who want the same thing. This is  all because F Nice is a record label based on fairness and the creation of great music.

The entertainment industry has changed drastically because of the Internet, and unlike the fat-cat studios and labels F Nice sees this as a very good thing. More tools and mediums for promotion and distribution mean there are more ways for a small company like F Nice to help artists, and more ways for artists to advance their own careers.  We see change as a good thing because when it comes down to it change is the only certainty in this crazy world.

In summary: Be nice people, fuck nice records. Never sell the rights to your music no matter how good the deal sounds.
