Pray for Polanski is a familiar name to anyone who frequents Boston’s fantastic indie music scene. They are one of, and have played with, the best small venue bands in Boston.

Pray for Polanski’s sound is fun, energetic and moving. It will put a smile on your face and a make your heart do the two-step. There is great depth in the lyrics as well, and when you’ve settled down from a night of dancing to it and actually do some real listening you’ll be back here and on their MySpace making sure you never miss another show.

Pray for Polanski rocks alongside all the greatest indie stars. They have played with The Pink Spiders, FOALS, Rocko Dorsey, The Lonely H, The New Rivals, Philpot, Kickdrum, and many many more. You also may have seen them or have friends that heard them on their recent tour through much of the eastern half of the country in places like Albany New York, Cleveland Ohio, Marion Indiana, and a little city call Philadelphia. 

Dual vocalists is a key to Pray for Polanski’s powerful sound. Aviv Rubinstien and Anne Warnock lead the band and carry their powerful lyrics to your ears. The combination of male and female singing sets Pray for Polanski apart from others in their indie rockabilly genre and is part of what has earned them their huge fanbase. Back this with the upbeat bass of Andrew Muro and blazingly fast drumming of Dan Ramspacher and you’ve got night after night of fun.
