Come be part of the commercial broadcasting process.
The Boston Local Music Show is a weekly radio show that uses a new media combination of live Shoutcast streams and podcast download feeds. The show is sponsored and produced by F Nice Records.
As a broadcast communications intern you will experience live radio broadcasting over the internet. You will see how an online radio studio operates and get to take place in the process both on air and behind the scenes.
You will also learn how marketing campaigns and public relations tie into radio programming, and about radio based business models.
Applicants for this internship should have an understanding of live audio mixing and digital audio formats. THIS INTERNSHIP REQUIRES THAT YOU WORK EVERY THURSDAY FROM 11AM TO 5PM if you cannot be in downtown Boston to work during that time do not apply.
